$23 million is being awarded to 30 research projects.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced $23 million in grant funding through their Teen Pregnancy Prevention (TPP) program, advancing the research necessary to better address unintentional teen pregnancy. Thirty projects were selected to receive this funding, which will focus on how to better support families of teens and how different environments influence intervention effectiveness.
“Our TPP program provides new research on innovative practices or specific populations and settings, which can support greater equity in TPP programming overall,” said Assistant Secretary for Health Levine. “The overarching goal is to improve adolescent sexual and reproductive health, promote positive youth development, and advance health equity.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For HHS Secretary Becerra to look to the Lord for guidance as he oversees the department.
- For Assistant Secretary Levine and HHS officials as they support research regarding teen pregnancy.
